Regis and Paul on the 18th hole - the rainbow leads to the 19th hole!

The fellows visit the Royal Adelaide Hospital: The fellows attended an outstanding academic session at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, moderated by Professor Donald Howie. The fellows had presentations by Kurt, Emil, Regis, and Cato, all of which generated considerable interest and discussion. The staff at the Royal Adelaide Hospital presented several interesting clinical and basic research papers, and the fellows had the opportunity to visit the outstanding research laboratories in the late morning.

In the afternoon, Guy went to a health club for a workout (with Michael Sutherland) while the other fellows tried their luck on the golf course at the Lake Karrinyup Country Club. While the course was challenging and the weather uncertain, the fellows had a great time and viewed several outstanding rainbows (see pictures).

That evening, dinner was shared with several of the staff at the Universal Wine Bar in Adelaide. The fellows were treated to a wine tasting extravaganza and had an excellent dinner from a menu which featured a great deal of native Australian fare. Several of the fellows finished the evening with their hosts at the local casino - to see if luck had changed since the golf!

The fellows at dinner.

Cato providing a toast with Don Howie looking on.
