1999 ABC Traveling Fellowship

This event marks the 51st year of ABC Traveling Fellowships.

On May 7th, 1948, thirteen orthopaedic surgeons from Britain made the first trip to North America..

Since then, on alternating years, a group from the United States and Canada has visited Australia and New Zealand or Britain and South Africa. On the other years, a group from Britain, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand visited North America.

This year, a United States and Canada contingent will visit Britain, Australia and New Zealand. Our pages will track the progress of this trip, and will constantly be updated to reflect the travels.
