O'Keefe Family

Meanwhile, back in Rochester, New York, April 12th was the day of Danny O'Keefe's 7th birthday party!  Danny gathered with his best friends at Rock Ventures, a local indoor rock climbing gym.  The boys climbed walls, ate pizza and cake, and ended the party with a big punch ball battle.

All of the O'Keefes love their dad Regis very much, and miss him already.  However, birthday parties, presents, cake, pizza and friends do help to ease the pain!

Danny's Birthday Party

Danny's sister Kaylin O'Keefe (age 4) was the only climber wearing white Mary Janes, but she still managed to keep up with her brother Patrick O'Keefe (age 8).

When Mom got tired, she just banished the crew to the cave, where they climbed, wrestled, and generally had a good time.

Danny O'Keefe is a terrific climber, and reached the top of several 150 foot walls.

When Kaylin fell off the wall, she was gently lowered down, but did not seem to enjoy the trip very much.

Meanwhile, back at home, the littlest O'Keefe, Abby (age 15 months) enjoyed the sun and the sand.  Yes we do have sun and sand (in limited quantities) in Rochester.
